Myth Buster: Creativity and Self Destruction Do Not Mix

by SpruceTV

When you think of some of the great and creative literary minds, names like Ernest Hemingway, Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, Truman  Capote and F. Scott Fitzgerald top most any list. But when you think of writers like those you also think of them as being reclusive, depressed and in some cases even alcoholics!

Let’s Get Weird Al on Glee!

by SpruceTV

Gleeks everywhere have rejoiced when their favorite pop stars like Madonna, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga have gotten the ultimate tribute by having their music featured on Glee! There is a list a mile long of other popular singers that have yet to have the New Directions crew pay homage to them. But, there is one star that we here at SpruceTV truly believe would make for a memorable and entertaining episode of Glee.  Our nominee? The one, the only, the outrageous “Weird Al” Yankovic!  Can’t you just see Rachel Berry cringe when she has to sing classics like “Eat It” or “Smells Like Nirvana”? Priceless!

And with our decree to get the songs of “Weird Al” Yankovic on Glee – we also want the man himself to make an appearance. Maybe sing a duet with Sue Sylvester? Check out our video below -  “Weird Al” himself professes his admiration of Jane Lynch and his desire to appear on the hit show exclusively to SpruceTV!
By the way – “Weird Al” has a new children’s book out When I Grow Up that you must check out. But in the meantime, join our campaign to get “Weird Al” Yankovic on Glee!  Be sure to tweet him (he has over a MILLION followers) and use @sprucetv’s hashtag #WeirdAlGlee. Let us know what “Weird Al” songs that you want to see covered on Glee and what type of storyline you would want “Weird Al” himself to be a part of if he was on the show in the comments section below!
